European Ports Are A Strategic Partner In Building A Sustainable, Competitive And Smart Europe

In view of the European elections, which will lead to a new Commission, a new European Parliament and a new vision for Europe, European ports have prepared a memorandum emphasising the role port managing bodies can play as facilitators of the port ecosystem. The ESPO memorandum identifies ten priorities, ten fields of action and importance for the next five years.

The memorandum has been presented during the ESPO annual conference in Livorno.

New Conference Venues For 2021 And 2022 Underline Interferry’s Global Vision

Interferry has confirmed locations for the 2021 and 2022 editions of its annual conference.

The global trade association’s 46th annual conference will take place in October 2021 in Santander, Spain, hosted by Brittany Ferries

The 2022 edition will be a twin-venue event in Marrakesh and Tangier, Morocco, hosted by FRS.

Year Of Progress Supports Strong Outlook

Over the past 12 months, Interferry has made significant progress in key areas through the great work of its Domestic Safety, Security and Regulatory committees; hosted another successful annual conference in Cancún; announced Hobart, Australia, as the location for its 2020 conference; elected a new chairman and three new directors to the Board; and welcomed 34 new members to the Interferry family.

Final arrangements are also being made for the 2019 conference in London, next October.
