Brodosplit Wants To Build Two Dry Docks

Brodosplit has asked geotechnical researcher Geotech to investigate how to build two dry docks in Split, Croatia.
The docks are primarily intended for the construction of new ships, and it is envisaged that there will be used for the construction of yachts, ferries and cruise ships.
One dock will be 200m long, the other one 100m. The latter should be covered with a roof.
Currently no shipyard in Croatia has dry docks for shipbuilding, except for some floating dry docks.
After the completion of the investigations, the necessary permits will be obtained. Construction will take up to three years.
